thermo-chemical stability and are stable to water and oxygen has been
developed by Covalent. Our patented ionic liquid materials are derived
from cyclic stabilized organic cations and the conjugate bases of
organic superacids. We provide the industry with developmental
quantities of these novel materials.

measurable vapor pressure. In the simplest form ionic liquids are
binary liquids, composed solely of anions and cations. These materials
manifest physiochemical behaviors quite unlike water or organic
solvents. They possess high ionic conductivity, high ion
concentrations, and excellent oxidative stability making them ideal
materials for demanding applications at elevated temperature.
Applications benefiting from these materials include power sources
(batteries, capacitors, and fuel cells) photovoltaic devices, dye
sensitized solar cells, thermal fluids and lubricants.
